Raffle tickets were sold at the past two farmers market events, with the grand prize being a year’s worth of cupcakes from the famed Georgetown Cupackes. Kings Park Civic Association, Friends and Farmers Inc. teamed up again with former Kings Park resident Terrence Noonan and producer of the TLC reality television show “DC Cupcakes”, to sponsor the raffle.

“She was very excited to win, but she graciously donated it back,” said co-chair of the Kings Park Civic Association Farmer’s Market Committee, Aly Elish-Swartz. “We can use it for another one of our events in the fall.”
