Varsity Scoreboard: Kingsmen Football Loses Opener, Comes Back for a Win

Kingsmen football crushes East Hampton 42-7.

After a long, grueling summer, the Fall sports season is officially upon us.

Football: The Kingsmen opened their 2011 campaign with an unfortunate . Quarterback Joe Guercio was picked off on the first pass attempt of the season and before they knew it, Kings Park was trailing.

The Kingsmen fared better Saturday at East Hampton. Running back Tom Milich got loose, rushing for four touchdowns and 144 yards on just 12 carries. His long 45-yard run in the third quarter put the game well out of reach as the Kingsmen improved to 1-1 with a 42-7 victory.
