Students raised over $1,000 to raise awareness of Lou Gehrig's Disease.

In memory of Lawrence DeLiso, lifelong Kings Park resident and his thirty-five years of service to the Kings Park School District, seventy-two Kings Park High School and Middle School students participated in this year’s ALS Badminton Doubles Tournament.
In their effort to generate community awareness of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, the students raised $1,040.00. All tournament proceeds were donated to ALS TDI, a biotech industry leader in ALS therapeutics.
