Early Dismissal for Kings Park Students on Tuesday
District announces two-hour early dismissal due to snow.
Kings Park students will be sent home early Tuesday as a wintery blast is expected to hit the area.
Kings Park Central School District has announced all buildings will have a 2-hour early dismissal on Tuesday due to the expected snow, according to its website.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service are predicting 10 to 14 inches of snow to wallop the Long Island area on Tuesday, with between eight and 10 inches forecast for New York City.
In addition to early dismissal, all after-school activities and planning evening events are cancelled.
