WATCH: Psych Center Smokestack Demolished in Kings Park

The demolition of the Kings Park Psychiatric Center smokestack went off without a hitch on Wednesday, wiping this former landmark from local landscape.
Workers detonated the structure at 2 p.m., sending the brick column crashing to the ground while spectators and many from the New York metropolitan area media watched more than 1,000 feet away.
