Update: According to the town's website, the street closings for Wednesday evening on Main Street in Kings Park and St. James have been postponed due to the forecasted snow storm.
The Town of Smithtown announced via its website Tuesday that Main Street in Kings Park would be closed Wednesday night into Thursday morning for snow removal.
The town made the announcement at 1 p.m. that the road would be closed Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday, or until the removal is completed. The snow removal will include the sidewalks and street.
Smithtown's Main Street will be closed Tuesday at 9 p.m. to Wednesday at 6 a.m., or until completion, for the same snow removal process. The main street in St. James will also be closed Wednesday at 9 p.m. to Thursday at 6 a.m., or until completion, for snow removal.
