Suffolk Cops: Homeless Couple Attempt Skimming Info from ATM

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

• Marian Serban, 43, and Silvia Resescu, 24, were both arrested on March 16 and charged with unlawful possession of a skimmer device, a misdemeanor.

According to police, the man and woman, both of whom police said are homeless, acted in concert with one another while attempting to remove personal identification information from an ATM at Astoria Federal Savings Bank.

• Jonathan Roren, 39, of Kings Park was arrested on March 20 on charges of first-offense DWI, a misdemeanor. According to police, Roren struck a utility pole while driving eastbound on Route 25A around 6:30 a.m.

• Victoria Senior, 25, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested on March 18 and charged with DWI first offense, a misdemeanor. according to police, Senior was driving a 2002 Mazda when she rolled through a stop sign on E. Northport Road.
