UNIONDALE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Jan. 2013 The Long Island Power Authority announced Monday that it will not be raising rates in the year to come.
No rate increase LOL. By march 2013 our bills went up 1% per kwh.
Efficiency and renewable charge?? $4.00 at least a month or ( $48.00 a year) for 2(energy lightbulbs) $3.00 at home deopt! oh and free information on Solar power
Now lets review the other charges,assessments, revenue based pilots,payback to Brookhaven for LILCO over charges on taxes??
A 6 billion dollar LILCO/Shoreham bailout. 30 year bonds that started payback 26 years ago SHOW US THE MONEY!! now the debt is 8 billion.
HMM, if the ratepayers have been footing the payment for 26 years this debt should be almost 3/4 paid. How did it go up 2 billion dollars.
