Spotlight Event: Horse and Wagon Tour of Nissequogue River State Park

A guided tour of the historic grounds via horse and buggy.

The Nissequogue River State Park Foundation will be hosting a Horse and
Wagon Tour of the Nissequogue River State Park (former Kings Park State
Hospital) on Saturday, April 14. Visitors will learn about the park's
unique history and environment while viewing its extraordinary grounds.
The tour guide will be forest biologist and outdoor educator Carolyn Flynn.

The departure times are every hour on the hour beginning at 9 AM and
ending at 4 PM. All tickets, $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and
under, must be purchased online at ourstatepark.com.

The tour is sponsored by the Reichert Family, owners of IGA Fort Salonga
and Larkfield Supermarkets. All proceeds will be used to help enhance and
beautify the park.
