Musical Moments Spotlight: The Troubadours

The series is almost over, catch it while you can.

If you haven’t caught a show this summer at Savatt Park, you are almost out of time.

Friday evening is the next to last performance in the Musical Moments series and will feature the Troubadours, a multi-generational chorale.

The band performs a variety of Broadway tunes. Keyboard player, Karl Schwarz has played piano for the Broadhollow Theater, various Broadway productions and the Freeport Chorale, as well as playing on the Today show with Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson.

“The Troubadours, representing all walks of life, are united by their strong love of singing. This group of seventeen talented vocalists likes nothing more than entertaining an audience,” said Musical Moments organizer Carol Kelly in a statement.

Show starts at 7:15 p.m. Russ Savatt Park, Main Street Kings Park.

This free, outdoor concert, is presented by Musical Moments in Kings Park with sponsorship from the Kings Park Civic Association, the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce and the local business community. This outdoor event is held, weather permitting; please bring seating.

If weather forces a concert cancellation a sign will be posted at Ralph’s and updates can be found on Kings Park Patch.
