Musical Moments in Kings Park Cancelled for Friday

Update: The threat of thunderstorms has forced cancellation of a concert by "The Kings Park Trio" on Friday, August 3, 7:30 PM at Russ Savatt Park on Main Street, Kings Park.  The event was planned as part of "Musical Moments in Kings Park 2012," a series of free, outdoor concerts.  Next week (August 17), weather permitting, Glenn Baldwin and Friends of Jazz will perform at Russ Savatt Park at 7:30 PM

Original story: Dance the tarantella or break into an Irish jig this Friday evening when the Kings Park Trio takes the stage.

The Kings Park Trio will play Irish and Italian favorites as well as dance music. Members of the Trio are Pat Lanasa on bass guitar, Pat Magdelan on drums, and Charlie Fontana on the electronic accordian.  Joe Norton and Jane Taver are the groups vocalists.
