The Kings Park Heritage Museum presents American Heritage Music on Friday, from 7-9 p.m. The event is free and will be held at RJO Intermediate School.

Adoption Day at Petco Lake Grove

Come to the Lake Grove Petco, rescue a dog and make a friend for life. Puppies and adult dogs available. Come by meet the dogs, say hello and learn more about Last Chance Animal Rescue.

I Love The 80's Nite Celebration

You don't have to be a Bratpacker or a member of The Breakfast Club to celebrate I LOVE THE 80's Nite at Main St. Pub. Enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the 80's. DJ Tony will be spinning your favorite 80's classics 9pm-1am. He may even break out his dual cassette player n rock some cassette-singles.Main Street Pub, Sat. 8 p.m.

Knights of Columbus Dixie Smokehouse Fundraiser

The Knights of Columbus, Father Seyfried Council #821, will be holding their annual Dixie Smokehouse BBQ Fundraiser on Jan. 21 from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. Dine-in or take-out. Ten-percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Knights of Columbus Council #821. Monday, 11 a.m.

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!
