What a great idea! That's 'thinking out of the box' to promote Kings Park and all of the shop owners. Marc Goldstein of Kings Park

It should be noted that the concert series is brought to you by the Kings Park Civic Association and the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce. Many area business owners have also sponsored or contributed to the concert series. A full listing will be available on the concert program. Many thanks to Kings Park Civic Association member Carol Kelly who made the concept a reality. Good things are happening in Kings Park!

We are looking forward to a great series of six concerts and anticipate that all attendees will really enjoy the performances. We are hoping for the weather to cooperate so that we get the most out of the inaugural year. Also, the Chamber of Commerce has requested that our town officials get together with Legs. Nowick & Kennedy so that their discussions with our State reps (Flanagan & Fitzpatrick) and the NYS DOT include the necessary added precautions for pedestrians on our Main Street. We do not want to wait for accidents or tragedies similar to Smithtown before anyone takes action. We need inprovements NOW! The crosswalks & signs in place are better than what we had before (nothing) but still do not go far enough to raise awareness & remind drivers of the need for extreme caution. We have to, we must, get some help & protection for all pedestrians but especially for our seniors & our kids. Let's enjoy a safe summer! Charlie Gardner, President, KP Chamber of Commerce
