Smithtown: Custody Battle for Boy Orphaned in Murder-Suicide Hits St. James Streets
A custody battle over the orphaned son of Katie Farrell, who was allegedly killed by East Northport native and ex-boyfriend James Schultz in a brutal murder-suicide, is playing in St. James, where a local doctor's office has hung a banner supporting keeping the boy with the Farrell family.

 An East Northport man died in a motorcycle accident on Motor Parkway in Commack Friday night, according to the Suffolk County Police. Greggory Raynor, 43, died after losing control of his 2004 Harley Davidson and crashing near the Shinbone Lane intersection on Motor Parkway at around 8:45 p.m., police said.
