Looking for somewhere to bring the kids during school break this week? Caleb Smith State Park is open year-round, so there's never a last chance to head over there for a trip on your own.
But this week, the park is offering a couple of different activities to do with the kids for a nominal fee.
For $3 per child, a look into the from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday will offer fun for kids. Kids under the age of 3 are allowed in for free, and adults at a cost of $4.
Friday, park rangers will offer an interactive production of the live for kids, though this event is recommended only for kids ages five and above.
Each week we see events come and go in the community. How often have you told yourself, "I wish I had remembered that"?
With our "Last Chance" feature, don't worry about forgetting events. Just check back in with Kings Park Patch throughout the week and we'll tell you which deadlines are approaching around town.
Do you have an important deadline the community needs to know about? Email them to email@example.com.
Correction: An earlier version of this article stated that Caleb Smith State Park is open every day. It is open Wednesday through Sunday, year-round. We regret this error.
