Last Chance: Kids on Break? Caleb Smith Has You Covered

Registration is required in advance for these events at Caleb Smith State Park during school vacation week.

Looking for somewhere to bring the kids during school break this week? Caleb Smith State Park is open year-round, so there's never a last chance to head over there for a trip on your own.

But this week, the park is offering a couple of different activities to do with the kids for a nominal fee.

For $3 per child, a look into the  from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday will offer fun for kids. Kids under the age of 3 are allowed in for free, and adults at a cost of $4.

Friday, park rangers will offer an interactive production of the live for kids, though this event is recommended only for kids ages five and above.
