The Long Island Power Authority is reporting 235 outages in Smithtown Township as of 1pm Wednesday and 730 in Suffolk County. Kings Park is reported to have less than 5 outages and Fort Salonga 20. Power is expected to be restored in both areas by 3pm.

- Port Jefferson branch of the Long Island Railroad is operating on weekend schedule. The LIRR reports: With sleet and freezing rain through this morning, the LIRR will operate on a weekend timetable during the a.m. rush as a result of the effects of the storm on the tracks and equipment.
