5 Events Happening This Week

Here's what happening this week in and around Kings Park.

Local photographers Frank Mercuri, Bernadette Piccione, and Tom Gillen will be featuring photos of theirs at the park's administration building at Nissequogue River State Park, every day through April 25. 

This week, and every week through Noevember, the Smithtown Historical Society is holding its historic house tour. The tour runs from noon to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The Kings Park School District Board of Education meets on Tuesday night at 7:30 at Kings Park High School. A .pdf of the agenda is attached.

In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster, EcoPhoto Explorers will be giving a presentation at the Commack Branch of the Smithtown Library on Wednesday at 7 p.m. about the shipwreck. Admission is free.

Who's the best local entrepreneur you can think of? On Thursday at 7 p.m., Kings Park Heritage Museum will recognize and celebrate some of the area's best and brightest businesspeople with its Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. This event takes place at the high school.

I just saw this dog running down sunken meadow rd. on Monday afternoon around 4:45.
