An early morning accident on Lawrence Road sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday.
According to officials, the accident occurred shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Lawrence Road between Route 25a and Rumford Road.
The driver of one of the cars was treated on the scene by the Kings Park Fire Department and was the transported to St. Catherine's Medical Center.
The condition of the driver was not immediately released.
