Relish Serving Up Family Fun For Parade Day

Parking lot will be gathering spot for food and fun in a family environment.

Residents and families looking to enjoy parade day with a little less craziness and a prime viewing spot can head to where Irish fare, face painting and music will fill their parking lot.

“We will have a tent set up in the parking lot by 10 a.m.” said Steve Cardello, Relish’s chef and co-owner. “It’s kind of an alternative to some of the craziness you might see on that day.”

There will be face painting, green zeppoles and Irish ices- even Italian Ice is Irish on St. Paddy’s day.

“We will have potato leek soup, black and tan battered fish and chips, Sheppard’s Pie and corned beef sandwiches,” said Cardello.

Pipe bands will stop by after the parade and Irish step dancers will perform as well.

Cardello said the restaurant will be using the special menu for the entire weekend as well as on St. Patrick’s Day. Relish is also serving a traditional Irish breakfast parade day morning.
