and its owner, Kevin Denis are well known familiar Kings Park favorites. If you are looking a little company and some comfort food that is reasonably priced, stop by. You just may be treated like family.
The Dish: Desi's Grilled Chicken over Greek Salad. ($9.95). The dish, named after Denis's daughter Desi is, according to Denis, the most popular item on the menu.
What's In the Dish? Cubed, marinated grilled chicken breast over a bed of iceberg lettuce, tomato, green pepper, cucumbers and crumbled Feta cheese. Placed in the salad are triangles of sliced pita, great for mopping up the homemade Greek dressing which is served on the side.
How's It Taste?: The chicken was tender and flavorful, piled high on top of crisp iceberg lettuce. The green peppers provide a little extra crunch along with the sliced cucumber. The Greek dressing, which is served in a small white pitcher on the side is tangy and homemade.
Sides: This salad is big, but if you want a side, take it in the form of a conversation on the side with owner Kevin Denis. It won't disappoint.
