BREAKING NEWS: Teens Hurt in Stabbing

A violent scene took place Tuesday night on Kings Park Road.

Kings Park Road turned bloody Tuesday night after two local teenagers were stabbed after an altercation with a young, Bay Shore man.

According to police, Fourth Precinct Squad detectives responded to a call about a disturbance on the Indian Hollow School property in Commack, near the Kings Park border, involving several people at approximately 10:40 p.m. Tuesday and discovered that two 19-year-old males had been stabbed.

Clyde Ricks, 20, of Bay Shore, was arrested as he attempted to flee the scene and was charged with assault in the first and second degrees for allegedly stabbing Guy Derival, 19, and Nick Governale, 19, both of Commack. 

Derival and Governale were sent to Stony Brook University Hospital by Commack Ambulance.

Derival who sustained multiple stab wounds to his chest, is listed in stable condition. Governale sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds to his upper arm and hip.

Ricks is being held at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Wednesday.
