Weekly Planner: Garden Club Meets and Lessons to Move Your Feet

Here's what's happening in and around Kings Park this week.

 

Good morning Kings Park. It's the beginning of a new school year. Good luck to all new and returning students.

Flex your green thumb and get ready to think about fall flowers and spring bulbs. The Smithtown Garden Club meets Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Library.

The Smithtown town board meets Tuesday at 2 p.m. at town hall in Smithtown. Click here for a copy of the agenda.

This program is for children ages 3-5 and will run from 10-11 a.m..  Each program with have a different nature theme with a hands-on activity. Registration required. Caleb Smith Park.

All sorts of classes are happening at the Commack branch of the Smithtown Library. Here is a

Help Kevin Chaves, from Troop 539 Kings Park continue to fill  the Gerald J. Ryan Outreach Center food pantry.

Head down to the Frank Bush Barn on Thursday at 4 p.m. and learn the fine art of Irish Step Dancing at the An Rince Mor School of Irish Dance.

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!
