Smithtown Library Adult Writers Group
Writers are welcome to read samples of works in progress to receive feedback and support from fellow writers in the community. Tuesday, Smithtown Library, 7 p.m.

All Female Flat Track Roller Derby Bootcamp and Recruitment
Lace up and hit the track for a free bootcamp of basic skills, meet the Revolution and learn more about Roller Derby. Tuesday, 8 -.m. World Gym Setauket.

National Mom's Nite Out at  Smith Haven Mall
It’s high time for moms to be pampered. On Thursday beginning at 5 p.m., Smith Haven Mall is the place to be for  a free evening of relaxation and fun.

Blood and Platelet Donors Sought
St. Johnland Nursing Center is conducting a blood drive on Monday, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM in the McDonald meeting room.

Falls Prevention Program
 Participants will learn how to integrate everyday behaviors that will improve their quality of life. Workshops focus on improving balance and strength, safely navigating home and community, choosing safe footwear, reviewing medication and more.  Siena Village Apartments-Smithtown. Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
