Spotlight Event: The Photography of Frank Mercuri

A nature photo collage collection by local photographer Frank Mercuri

His work appears often on Kings Park Patch. Photographs of birds, nature, sunsets and storms. Now local photographer and Kings Park resident Frank Mercuri will have his photography on display at Caleb Smith Park beginning October 12 until October 27.

Mercuri rediscovered photography after retirement at 69 years old and began using digital photography when he was 70. He has traveled the United States extensively by car, which he says is the best way to see it.

Mercuri told Patch he believes that seniors should pursue their hobbies as long as they have their health and enjoy their retirement.
