Very nice Agnes! Are a couple of those paintings?

Hi...thank you! They are all digital photos but then I add some effects on the computer to give them that look. Some have a painting effect from the Topaz program; I also apply textures. I think I used the Lensbaby Soft Focus optic on a few which gives a dreamy look :)

that's great, I love the digital effects. Never used the Lensbaby myself - always was intrigued. I shoot a lot of landscapes.....do you use often for landscapes? I like the effect you got with it at the beach

Hello again...I went back on the computer to check what I did. I used the Lensbaby for the three pictures from Sunken Meadow but a regular lens for the one at the Kings Park Bluffs. That one looks more like a painting because I added a texture and then a Watercolor effect from the Topaz Simplify program. I also use Topaz Adjust a lot. You can download free 30 day trials from Topaz Labs for any of their programs. I use the Lensbaby occasionally on landscapes but more often for flowers. It took me a while to get used to it but it is fun to use, light to carry around, and fairly inexpensive compared to a lot of the lenses. If you get one of the Lensbaby lenses, you can buy different optics such as the Soft Focus and Fisheye etc... Enjoy the weekend :)
