Kings Park Civic to Discuss KPE 2, Jezco and Uplands Project

Kings Park Civic Association will meet at 7:30 pm. Thursday in Ralph J. Osgood auditorium.

Kings Park residents will gather on Thursday night to talk over the latest developments in industrial area and proposed projects. 

Kings Park Civic Association will host its November meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Ralph J. school auditorium. 

The civic associations plan to discuss the latest developments in the so-called Kings Park industrial area concerning KPE 2, Jezco, Carlson Associates and Santilli. The first two companies, KPE 2 and Jezco, are currently under lawsuit from Town of Smithtown and under temporary restraining orders to cease all illegal activity. 

Carlson Associations has both a request for change of zoning and several variances before Town of Smithtown officials, with proposed plans to either build an asphalt plants or, as they prefer, an indoor organic yard waste recycling facility. 

In addition the the industrial area, Kings Park Civic Association plans to discuss the latest developments in the proposed Uplands project and its fall coat drive.
