Holiday Guide: Where to Celebrate Easter and Passover in Kings Park
Know when and where to celebrate the holidays this week with our guide to local religious services.
As many people rush to organize get togethers with family for the holidays, it may be difficult to find out when religious services are being held in town. Prepare for the holidays this week and next week by taking a look at the times for religious services for Passover, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday in Kings Park.
- Easter Sunday mass at will begin at 10:00 a.m.
- will be holding Holy Thursday services at 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., the latter of which will be a mass of the Lord’s Supper and an Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 11:00 p.m. On Good Friday there will be 9:00 a.m. morning prayer. The Stations of the Cross will be performed at noon in Travis Hall. Mass will be held on Easter Sunday at 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 12:00 p.m. in the church, and 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in Travis Hall.
- Passover services at will take place at 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25. On Tuesday, there will be a prayer service at 9:00 a.m. and Yiskor services at 11:00 a.m.
