Farmers Market Celebrates Fall, Considers Winter Market
Fall festival happening October 30.
New ideas are growing at the farmers market, including a fall festival and a possible winter market.
The market, which began in May of this year, is hosting a fall festival that will take place on October 30. The day will include a pumpkin patch, costume parade, music and giveaways.
“We wanted to celebrate our first year with the community by hosting a fall festival,” said Bernadette Martin, director of Friends and Farmers.

A baking contest is also on tap as well as a cooking demonstration from Steve Cardello, chef at Relish.
The market will continue to run through November 20 from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.
