Next to Ralph’s is Russ Savatt Park, an old fashioned square, with tables and benches. The recently renovated park was named after long time King Park resident who, among other things, was a member of the Kings Park Volunteer Fire Department and operated a barber shop just steps away from his namesake park.

Ralph’s employee, Amanda Bono, states, “Young and old come to cool off with a refreshing ice. They can sit outside and enjoy themselves.”

Teresa and Bernard Dillon can often be found enjoying an ice, while sitting on the park’s swing. Bernard explains, “We come here all the time, it’s a great way to relax.”

Ralph’s is now open seven days a week, from noon to 11 p.m.
