A Kings Park High School has been named at National Merit Semi-Finalist.
Andrew He, a senior at Kings Park HIgh School, has been selected as a National Merit Semi-Finalist and has the opportunity to compete for college scholarships.
He was among 16,000 other students who took the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Qualifying Test as a junior, and was among the highest-scoring students in New york State Now, He will have to submit a detailed scholarship application from their schools and themselves.
Finalists for the 2014 National Merit Scholarships will be announced in February 2014 and winners named in the spring.
