Ready or not, the Health Insurance Exchange is set to open on Tuesday October 01, 2013. If you do not know what the exchange is, you are not alone. The health insurance exchange is a website that allows you to buy health insurance as an individual or as a business owner through the SHOP exhcange. The Affordable Care Act has mandated that all Americans have health insurance in 2014. What the Government has not told you is what plan you should enroll with or should you or can you stay on your employer plan. You also have no one helping you through the process. If you are looking for help, I suggest contacting a licensed health insurance broker for free assistance.
