On Your Mark: Runners Sprint to the Finish for Sunset Run

Over 300 participants turned out on Saturday for the annual event.

Over 300 local runners, walkers and even strollers turned out on Saturday for Nissequogue River State Park's Sunset Run.

Iffy weather might have kept a few away, but Mother Nature shone done and gave the runners a sunny and dry race.
 
Boyd Carrington of Amityville had the fastest time, finishing the race with a time of 18:17. Not far behind was Keith Guilfoyle of Commack with a time of 18:23. Tara Wilson of WEst Islip led the women with a time of 19:30. To see the entire list, click here.
