Just Sixties Expected to Rock out Kings Park

Show starts at 7:30 p.m. at Russ Savatt Park.

Be prepared to rock till the end of the 2013 Musical Moment series in Kings Park. 

Just Sixties will bring the rock and pop sounds of the 1960s to Kings Park on Friday night while featuring Kings Park's very own resident Rob Gerver. The concert is the last installment of the 2013 Musical Moment summer concert series held in Russ Savatt Park on Main Street. 

Just Sixties claims to be the country's longest continuously running 60s tribute band, performing classic hits such as "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy" to Jimmy Hendrix's "Fire." They have previously performed at Eisenhower State park, Dix Hills Performing Arts Center, and several area festivals. 

Gerver, is a self-taught drummer, guitarist and keyboard player who founded the popular 70s band Kivetskty. The Kings Park resident will perform on drums for Just Sixties.  He will be joined by Donnie West on guitar and Marty Safran on keyboard and bass. All three members of the group perform on vocals. 

Show starts at 7:30 p.m. at Savatt Park next to Ralph's Ices on Kings Park's Main Street.
