Don't pass up this opportunity to satisfy your sweet tooth for an entire year.

This Sunday is the last chance to buy tickets for the Kings Park Civic Association's annual Georgetown Cupcake Raffle. It is held in conjunction with conjunction with Friends and Farmers Inc..

The KPCA has teamed up with former Kings Park residents Terrence Noonan, producer of TLC's reality television show “DC Cupcakes”, to sponsor a raffle of a year's worth of free cupcakes.

Residents can purchase raffles tickets this Sunday up until the drawing at 1:30 p.m. All proceeds will go into a scholarship given by the Kings Park Civic Association to a local high school student. A dozen cupcakes will be sent each month to the winner.

The Kings Park Farmers Market happens every Sunday until mid-November, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the municipal parking lot across from the fire department on Main Street
