Travis Malekpour, Neighbor

Travis Malekpour is a Patchogue native, graduating from Patchogue-Medford High School in 2006. As a student at Suffolk County Community College, Malekpour successfully rose through the ranks of the Selden campus&#39; newspaper, <i>The Compass</i>, to become the Editor In Chief. He graduated from Suffolk Community&#39;s Honors College in Fall of 2009. While working for <i>The Compass</i>, Malekpour&#39;s and his staff&#39;s work for their <i>Super Sick Awesome Gift Guide Spectacular Yeah! 2009 </i>won third place at Associated Collegiate Press&#39; National College Summer Journalism Workshops: Best of Show July 2010 in Minneapolis for Special Editions/Sections. Malekpour is currently enrolled at Stony Brook University as an undergraduate in the English Literature and History program as a double major, Class of 2013.
