The Week Ahead: Seafood Fest, Fireworks for the Fourth

Here's what's happening this week in Kings Park.

SCOPE Environmental Adventure Camp Animal Adaptations Week
Learn all about the creature features that make it possible for animals to survive in a variety of habitats from the beach to the forest at Sunken Meadow State Park.  Get up close and personal with a new group of animals each day.
Camp open to children entering grades 1-8 in September 2013. Camp from 8:30 am-3:00 pm each day.  Beach day and out of camp trip during this week.

Abrakadoodle's Kids on Canvas Family Workshop
Workshops are offered on a class-by-class basis, just register in advance for the dates you want to attend.  A child can attend alone or with other family members. Wednesday, 3-5 p.m.

Tiny Tot Discovery Program
This Mommy & Me Tiny Tot Discovery Program is offered by the Smithtown Recreation Department as a first developmental step towards preschool and/or nursery school readiness. Monday, 1 p.m.

Seafood Fest at Sunken Meadow Beach
This summer, join friends and family on Wednesdays, beginning May 23rd through September 5 from 6-9 p.m. at Field 1 at Sunken Meadow for a great dinner at a spectacular location.
