Drug Addiction Presentation, Baseball Tryouts this Week in Kings Park

Monday Night Football
Head to the Main St. Pub in Kings Park to watch Monday Night Football as Seattle takes on St. Louis at 8 p.m. Monday. There will be food and drink specials. 

Pre-School Program
Kings Park High School students will be offering a pre-school program for local children, ages 2 - 5, for 70 minutes on alternating Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Activities will include arts and crafts, games, literacy readiness and more under the supervision of a parenting education teacher. 

Employment Open House
Looking for a new job that's close to home? Attend the DDI of Smithtown for an employment open house for its young autism programs on Tuesday, from 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m

Evening of Beauty
Join the Spatique of Smithtown as they celebrate their fourth annual Evening of Beauty at 7 p.m. Tuesday for information on the latest beauty trends, fun, games, raffles and more

Kings Park in the kNOw
Kings Park in the kNOw will be hosting a powerful presentation from a Kings Park mother who lost her son to heroin addiction at age 20 on Wednesday, 7 p.m. at Kings Park High School. Addiction and Prevention expert Steve Chassman from Long Island Council on Addiction and Drug Dependency will be on hand. 

Baseball Tryouts
The Kings Park Rangers U-13 Travel team will be hosting tryouts for those interested in playing this Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Cy Donnelly Field in Kings Park. Registration starts at 3:30 p.m., tryouts are from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
