Don't Miss: Sunset Run at Nissequogue River State Park
Fun run and 5K this Saturday at Nissequogue River State Park.
You can run it or walk it, but you shouldn't miss the Sunset Run at Nissequogue River State Park happening this Saturday.
Due to ongoing demolition at the park, the course has changed slightly, said John McQuaid, Chairman of the Nissequogue River State Park Foundation.
"We had almost 800 attendees last year and we expect more based on the pre-registration numbers. It’s a fun event with a live band, emcee, food and beverages."
Prizes and cash awards go to the top 5K runners and all proceeds from the event are used for park beautification. Registration is $21 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run. Click here for registration information.
