Event Spotlight: Smithtown Recreation Canoe Trip
Spend Saturday canoeing down the Nissy.
The Smithtown Recreation Department invites everyone on a canoe trip up the Nissequogue river this Saturday morning.
Bring friends or family down to Paul T. Givens County Park, located next to the Smithtown Bull, before setting sail at 9 a.m. and enjoy an afternoon of canoeing. It’s 40 dollars for each canoe, which fits up to two adults or two to three children.
Make sure to bring along bagged lunch and sunscreen for the day.
