St. Anthony's QB Out With Concussion

Dominic Calistro will make his second straight start for Friars Friday night in place of injured Greg Galligan.

St. Anthony’s football will be without its starting quarterback for at least one more week, the school announced Friday.

Talented junior Greg Galligan, who took over the offense midway through last season, suffered a concussion in the loss to against Bergen Catholic two weeks ago and has not played since.

St. Anthony’s athletic Director Don Buckley said everyone involved is being cautious with Galligan, who expects to be cleared to return next week.

Senior Dominic Calistro will make his second straight start at quarterback when the Friars (0-2) host CHSFL rival Holy Cross (2-0) Friday at 7 p.m.

Once again, iconic Coach Rich Reichert (211 wins) looks to break a tie with former Bellport Coach Joe Cipp Jr. to become the winningest coach in Suffolk football history.

Please have the senior QB's name corrected. His name is DOMINICK CALISTO...not Dominic Calistro. Thank you
