Kings Park Gymnast to Compete in State Championship
Sophomore Skylar Haas qualifies to represent Suffolk County for the second year.
A Kings Park sophomore has been selected to represent Suffolk at the New York State championships early next year.
Skylar Haas earned enough points during the fall girls varsity gymnastic season to represent Suffolk County and Section XI at the New York State Championships in March.
This is the second year that Haas has been selected for this honor, according to Kings Park Athletic Director Dan Butler.
Haas will join the top three all-round finishers in Suffolk as well as the three specialists in each event and an alternate.
