A Kings Park athlete got her moment to shine on the fields at the annual girls soccer expo on Friday Night.
Paige Bly, a senior at Kings Park High School, was invited to play for team Suffolk in the Exceptional Senior games held at Bethpage High School on Friday, Newsday reports.
The Nassau team took home the victory over Suffolk, 2-1, on Friday as senior athletes across Long Island has one last chance to play and showcase their skills for potential college scholarships.
This was the second year of the Exceptional Senior games which sponsored by the New York Cosmos, a professional men's soccer team from New York City who plays in the North American Soccer League.
