Kingsmen girls volleyball team has clinched a league title and has set their sights on winning their third consecutive league championship.

Kings Park varsity girls volleyball beat No.2-ranked Islip, 3-0, in their final home game of the 2013 season on Tuesday. The Kingsmen have an undefeated record of 12-0 i League V, and 14-0 overall.

Kings Park recognized its graduating seniors Tuesday as part of senior night: Joelle Goldstein, outside hitter; Kendall Corcoran, setter; Amber Walters, middle; Michelle Seheste, right side hitter; Athena Rine, right side; and Brianna Tiernan. Goldstein and Corcoran have served as team captains this year.

Head Coach Lizz Rakita said the team's strength and continued success, undefeated since Oct. 11, 2011, is in large part thanks to its experience lineup.

"With two county and Long Island championships under our belt, these girls are hungry to get a third and bring home a state title. Half of these girls have all been in the team for our first two championships and are ready to get the third," Rakita said.

Kings Park is ranked No.1 in the Class A championships and will get a bye first round of playoffs. They will play the winner of Westhampton vs. Eastport-South Manor on Monday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.
