The Lady Kingsmen’s run to the state championships has come to an end, despite what Dan Butler, director of athletics said was a great effort.
“They did not advance to the championship match. The girls defeated Cornwall two games and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake once,” said Butler.
The team ended up with three wins and three losses.
The team returned home Saturday evening. The Kings Park Fire Department escorted the girls out of town in style on Friday, leading the way with fire trucks and sirens.
“Congratulations to coach Liz Manly and her team on a remarkable season,” said Butler.
