Nesconset 5K Run/Walk and Health Fitness Fair

The 5k and Health Fair are being held in memory of local war hero, Seamus Michael Byrne.  Seamus was injured while serving  with the New York National Guard in Afganastan and was awarded a Purple Heart.  He returned home to his wife, Michelle and their two children.  As the family looked forward to a bright future, tragedy took Seamus away when he was struck by car.

Proceeds will benefit the Smithtown Children's Foundation and the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce's efforts in assisting local families in need.
