Sunday, May 20th, 5th Annual Judy's Run For Stroke Awareness & Prevention (Rain or Shine) Sunken Meadow State Park, Kings Park, New York ... A fast, scenic 5k (3.1 mile) loop course through the park and a 1 mile fun walk on Sunken Meadow's boardwalk overlooking the sound.

Post race awards, prize drawings, stroke awareness and prevention information handouts, refreshments, music and fun. Register online at www.judysrun.com

T-shirt/Entry fee deadline May 1st...(After May 1st, entry fee $30.00. Shirts cannot be guaranteed to those registering the day of the race)

Early T-shirt and tag number pick-up: Friday, MAY 18TH FROM 7 - 9 PM at Nesconset Nursing Center. Day of Race Registration : 7:30-8:30 am.

Awards and Trophies: Top overall Men's and Women's finisher. Metals to top 3 in age groups...Finish times will be posted on www.start2finish.com

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!
