Cross Country Coaches Get Pink Dye Jobs, Raise Funds for Cancer

The cross country teams of Islip and Kings Park unite at Sunken Meadow to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

 

The scene was pink at Tuesday's cross country match between Kings Park and Islip as the the teams united to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

Pink hair was sported by Coach Muller of Kings Park and Coach Clapp of Islip dyed his goatee pink. The teams fundraised through bake sales, hosting a smoothie night and selling ribbons and tee shirts. On Track for A Cure shirts were worn by both teams.

Together, they raised $1,828.
