Kings Park Valedictorian Ryan Parigoris will not only graduate at the top of his class, he is proficient in French, has strengths in science and will graduate with a weighted average of 104.15 this Thursday evening.
“Ryan is truly a brilliant young man who impresses on every level. Not only has he challenged himself and succeeded within all academic areas, he exemplifies compassion and a desire to help others,” said high school principal Lino Bracco.
Parigoris was ranked top ten in the country for the National French Exam and earned the Simons Fellowship.
Bracco says that Parigoris’ true strengths lie in the quality of his character as a person. This past fall Parigoris dedicated 30 hours to community service working alongside National Honor Society Volunteers to rake the leaves of the elderly and disabled.
Parigoris will attend Tufts University the fall and will major in Psychology.
