The Kings Park Board of Education will meet tonight to start the first in its series of budget workshops.
The district is anticipating a more than $1 million shortfall for next year’s budget and will begin a series of four discussions on how it will meet that gap, including one Saturday morning meeting.
The dates for the workshops are:
- February 16
- March 8
- March 15
- March 24
Thursday evening's workshop begins at 7:30 p.m. in room 101 of the high school.
