Rocket Club Flies With NASA

St. Anthony's students compete against other high school and college teams at Marshall Space Flight Center.

What a blast!

The St. Anthony's Rocket Club competed in NASA’s Student Launch Project last week at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.

Club advisor Mark Capodanno said the team successfully accomplished all of its mission objectives when the students built, launched and returned a 7½ feet tall, high-powered rocket containing a scientific payload.

The NASA event included over 50 Universities and 15 Middle and High Schools from across the United States.

Call it mission accomplished.
